St Edward's Festival

October 13th is the Feast Day of our Patron Saint Edward, King and Confessor. Each year, to mark this occasion, there is a Music and Arts Festival. A variety of local musicians regularly take part in the Festival.

ST EDWARD’S MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL, 11-22 October 2011.

The following events have been arranged so far:

Tue 11 Oct. 7.30pm. St Edward’s. The Poet’s Love: exploring Schumann’s Dichterliebe with James Stewart (voice and Mike Joseph (piano).

Thur 13 Oct. 7.30pm. Service of music and readings to mark the 400th Anniversary of the King James Bible (St Edward’s Choir).

Fri 14 Oct. 7.30pm. St Edward’s. Excerpts from Haydn’s Creation (St Edward’s Choir & Orchestra).

Sat 22 Oct. Opera Mint: Don Giovanni.
